Isaiah 26:4
“Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.”
for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.”
Trusting has always been a hard thing for me to do. I guess you might say I’m the type to always second guess what your telling me. I very rarely believe what I’m told, I do research and draw my own conclusions. I guess you might say I’m a “free thinker.” So learning to trust a partner in a relationship or a team mate or God is hard for me. But out of all three God was the easiest. Because the very nature of trusting in someone you cannot see, or having faith in something you can’t have “certainty” with can be scary. But the Lord is all knowing, He makes it easy for us to trust by being good to us. When you call on the name of the Lord - HE WILL answer you. And because He’s been the only consistency in my life I guess with certainty I trust Him now. Because I finally know what an “everlasting rock” feels like.
